The pickups provide the authentic chime and sparkle often associated with Stratocasters. The neck pickup offers a spanky tone, but with a sweet tonal character. The treble attack is softened by the specially degaussed alnico 2 rod poles, which have been injected with just the right amount of smoke, sweat, and grime to produce the ideal amount of grit. The middle pickup is RW/RP (reverse-wound, reverse-polarity) for hum-free cluck in the 2 and 4 positions, while the bridge pickup is wound hotter than the neck and middle versions for better overall balance and increased versatility without losing the vintage vibe. Each pickup is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA.
